1. Nicky: Welcome to the land down under. F1 is in Melbourne and the beautiful Albert Park. It is our backdrop for the Australian Grand Prix after the longest flight and the biggest time zone shift of the season. Can anyone get the better of The first race of the season, but first, welcome to your first weekend warmup of the season. Hello and a warm welcome down to, I think, one of the prettiest paddocks that we come to all season here at Albert Park for the Australian Grand Prix. Um, it’s sort of 7:00 p.m. here. I don’t know where you’re watching in the world; we’re not quite sure what time of day it is or, indeed, maybe what day it is. But we are here. Uh, sun is setting, and a fair few drivers have already left the Paddock To Get Some Rest Following Into Free Practice. A fair few personnel have as well. Alongside me, though, sticking this one out with me is just Max Today. How are we feeling Max? And can I just say a disclaimer ahead of this: Max has been home to the hotel for a cheeky midafternoon nap. Max:We… we’re five seconds into the show—there’s the bus! There’s the bus, you’ve just thrown me under it 😂And, uh, it was worth it because it means I’m sentient to talk about some Formula One. I’m sure it does mean that but now it’s time to dig straight into it.
  2. Nicky: or first you would like to give him a very warm welcome to all the new drivers entering Formula One for the first time and some such as Fabio so yeah it’s gonna look to be a very very nice weekend here in Melbourne and I can’t wait to get it under way, there’s a few teams that we’re looking forward to seeing on the grid this week, but a lot of talk has been around sven and his race ban for 3 races obviously Aston being in a bit of a hole have brought in sacky, but the main battle I think we’re all gonna start focusing on now is going to be between Aston Martin and haas. Obviously has have had a five race win streak which hasn’t ended yet and they’re gonna be looking to extend that into this weekend here in Melbourne and get a back to back world constructors championship and even look at a world drivers championship Aston on the other hand trying to get onto the championship but this race band will really keep them back as they’re gonna miss out on maximum of 75 points from just one driver who is generally at the top of the field in every single race. Max: yeah, it’s gonna hurt Aston Martin quite a bit because they’ve had such a good off-season with possibly a bit of training in there with some great signings of Hunter to and to knee out on one of the star drivers for the first three races of the season, it’s gonna be absolutely detrimental towards them and it’s going to really ruin the season open for them and they’re gonna have to come back into it like how hosted at the start of last season when they have missed out on the first like fourth races and then they only got two points within them races and came back with a five race win streak to come to the top of the championship and win it so Aston need to pull something out of the bag here.
  3. Nicky: yeah that’s completely right and I agree with you on that point but let’s focus now towards the centre of the grid where we have the midfield teams such as LP and they have been sold this week and they are looking to come in and the same with Cadillac who are getting sold and you have been sold to the Red Bull boys who are now departing after Australia to go to Cadillac Formula One team it is going to be a big season 11 teams on the grid three new team owners actually for new team moving owners including Alpine no five including Red Bull so it’s gonna be a great season that we’re looking out for and I cannot wait to dive straight into it. Max: yeah Mercedes have JDIZZ the driver banned for life so that’s gonna affect them quite a bit but I think it’s gonna be a great race but I think I’m gonna put my money on somewhere between Aston Martin and haas I think this is gonna be empty this season that are gonna be looking to fight it out maybe McLaren can join the party a bit maybe even Mercedes can have a go and get back at it but I think it’ll be between them and Cadillac should be able to throw themselves into the fight so it’s gonna be a great season. I can’t wait to get it under way as well.
  4. Well, thank you everyone for watching and listening to us on this weekend warmup and we cannot wait to get into Australia onto the grid for the Formula One Melbourne Grand Prix.
